Let’s learn together

@ My MBA Project

What started as a journal for our MBA journey is now a collection of learnings from books, short courses, and executive education. Through this project, we want to continue sharing the joy of acquiring knowledge, and spreading it, especially to those who may not have access to it.

Learning Program Highlight

Stanford LEAD Program

Stanford LEAD is a year-long online learning program taught by Stanford Graduate School of Business faculty. It provides mid- to senior-level professionals with fundamental business skills, an innovation mindset, and leadership strategies to drive change and enhance their impact.

SHORT COURSES Highlight

Harvard Business School Online

We found Harvard Business School Online courses addictive; yes, we’re maybe a little weird! These are generally 6-8 week long that allow you to learn from real-world case studies with practical tools and frameworks you can take back to your organisation. Not to mention expanding your network!

Read and review

Our latest book reviews

We think reading books is fun and essential, even when everyone else is just looking at their phones. If you have any questions, or feedback about our reviews and/or choices of books, we would love to hear from you!

The Project Team

It’s a small but (very) competitive (to each other) team.

Francis Ayan

EMBA Candidate | gsb Stanford LEAD

After 19 years in the Structural Engineering industry, which took him to live and work in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, Philippines, New Zealand, and Australia, he decided to pursue his Executive MBA. This led him to launch the “My MBA Project”. Francis loves to travel and has been to over 50 countries, a passion shared with his wife. He follows a few sports religiously, including the NBA, MMA, and Boxing.

Nicola Ayan

VP, GTM Strategy | guest author

Nicola has not completed an MBA program but has taken several short Harvard Business School Online courses, which she prefers over an MBA (for now?). Her entire career has been in technology, primarily digital. She currently leads the Go-To-Market strategy for a B2B software company. Nothing motivates Nicola more than a competition with her husband, be it the number of books read, or blog posts written.
